Is the walking dead season 2 being aired in the UK on a non sky channel ever?
I know Walking dead season 2 is being aired on FXUK but will it be coming to a non sky channel?|||No doubt Channel 5 will pick it up like they did with season 1. Sometime in the next 20 years......|||From what I can find out the answer is no - unless Channel 5 show it after its initial run on the FX channel. after an episode of walking dead i think 2 weeks ago, they said that if we go to the walking dead website on amc, we could watch how that one zombie from season one, who was missing the lower half of her body and dragging herself across the park, ended up that way.

I mean here's Rick in a coma, than Shane tells her that he's dead and the next thing you know they're screwing like crazy. What do you think?|||So...there was a scene at the beginning of an episode recently maybe 2-3 episodes ago...where she was picking her son up from school and talking with a friend..and she mentions that she's not sure if she's still in love with Rick. So yes, they were having problems BEFORE the dead started walking. Now, I don't think she was having an affair with Shane prior to that but...if you already have problems in your relationship it does make it easy to fall into the arms of someone else. And in such a crazy situation, it's not unlikely that she craved the stability and safe feeling that Shane gave her.

I know that when you think you might die tomorrow...maybe you'd think hey...I'll get it in when I can, but it was irresponsible for her to have un-protected sex. Is The Walking Dead graphic novel the same as the TV show?
My friend really enjoys The Walking Dead TV show on AMC, and I was thinking about buying him the first graphic novel in the series for Christmas. I want to know if so far (as we're only 5 episodes in), does the TV show follow the graphic novel extremely accurately, or is it different at all? I ask because I don't really know if he will be that interested in reading the graphic novel if he knows what is going to happen already. Thanks in advance!|||it is along the same lines, but it has different characters. I would recommend buying it. I actually started buying the comics when they were coming out in 2006 (lucky me working next door to a comic book store). Who thinks Norman Reedus is going to die in the Walking Dead?
Norman Reedus is my favorite actor and he is guest staring in the Walking Dead as Daryl Dixon.
It just hit me that if he is a guest that means that he is going to die!?
How do you think he would die?|||I share your worry. He is not only a guest actor but his character is not even in the comics. His chances for being killed off are very high.

Do we need to see more action?|||It was awesome, when Sophia came out as a walker and they were all like "what do we do?" after exectuing their massacre of the dead things that arent people was just awesome. It was the best episode of the season, the second best is the opener, but only because Carl got shot in that episode.
They should bring back the black guy from season 1 or bring Merle back into the picture. Introducing a new character would be good, but I hate that they are still on the Farm, I Liked it better when they were wandering, it was more interesting.
I think the show would improve by have shane get bit, but he cuts his arm off before the infection spreads. and he should get an ear shot off, they irritate me|||I liked the finale, but this season has been pretty boring. I read all the comics after season 1, and the writing is just so much better. You actually care about the characters, and nobody is off limits.
With the show, there have been some moments where I'm asking myself, "Wtf are the writers thinking?". Like the part where they lower Glen into the well, for virtually no reason. First of all, that idea is retarded and makes no sense, and second of all they almost drop him in with 4 people holding the rope while it's braced around a pipe. So when it all fails and they pull him out, he literally jumps back down the well, with just T-bone holding the rope at one end. When you have such stupid segments of an episode, it can literally ruin the credibility of the entire show.
The show doesn't necessarily need more characters, they will come with time. It just needs to develop faster, with better writing and better acting. The characters act like they're on a temporary vacation at the farm. Did they forget that the last remaining scientist at the CDC killed himself because the best minds in the world could not prevent the human race from likely becoming extinct? And why didn't they mention that to Hershel while he's bitching about zombies being "sick". They should fire all the writers and hire the ones from Breaking Bad.|||I'd say the mid-season finale was the 2nd best of the season, behind the season opener.
How can it improve? Less yapping and more nuts and bolts about what the characters do to survive.
I'd much rather see them finding a good location, planning on how to secure it, doing that, and developing strategies to raid for supplies, etc.
Instead, i'd say half of every episode is yapping about their respective relationships.|||I was totally shocked that Sophia was in the barn - although I predicted she was a zombie. I think Shane has some anger issues, but is one of my favorite characters. He defiantly knows how to survive and was totally right last night when he was yelling at Hershel.
I hate Lori the most - getting pregnant with your husband's best friend when you find out your husband is dead? Wow. And then she yells at him about him keeping secrets from her... huh.

I practically CRIED when I saw Sophia walk out of that barn. And Rick and his group are going to be super mad at Hershel - he knew Sophia was in there and let Rick and everyone else go out looking for her and didn't tell them! ARG... he's a secretive old man. I love this show! Ahhh!|||I just can't stop thinking about how they finnally found Sophia and she was a walker:( and Rick had to shoot her. But I think tht just goes to show that Rick is more of a man than Shane, nomatter how bad Shane doesn't wanna believe it! I thot it was accusing a great way to leave us in suspense for the next season. Amazin finalle!! And holy---- did u watch the talking dead after that, Alice Cooper called the show out of nowhere!! Awesome!!|||Shane was right. He may be a little nuts these days, but he was right this time. I think it's time for Merle to reappear. And, the fact that Rick had the guts to put Sophia out of her misery is just. He should have NEVER left her. They should move on now. And Maggie should go with them. (I think that's her name.) What is happening at the beginning of episode 6 of The Walking Dead?
So Im watching the walking dead but I don't understand what is going on that the beginning of the episode where the officer is with the sick patient at the beginning in the hospital room, is he dreaming? What is with all the people shooting? I thought they left him at the tree. I've watched the previous episodes so I know whats going on mainly.|||The person they left at the tree is Jim. The officer, Shane, was trying to get Rick, sick patient, to wake up from his coma. In the first episode, Rick get's shot twice and the second time is what induces the coma. When he wakes up, he's alone in the hospital, and eventually he finds Shane and their camp. In the camp, there is an attack and Jim gets bitten. The creators of the show put the flashback scenes in because it helps explain the story and it usually has something to do with the episode. Hope I helped :)|||That's shane trying to evacuate Rick from the hospital. The people shooting are some sort of army type deal killing all the zombies and infected.

What's your opinion about the shows?|||walking dead is good becasue its different. the ratings are good becasue of the mysterious and dark gory edge added to the features of the show. BUT walking dead gets boring sometimes near the middle to the end.
gossip girl used to be SO good. it was sexy and had hot boys on it (lol) also, the clothes featured on it were beautiful. the characters were scandelous and i thught that i would watch this show until the end. BUT, the cwnetwork should have ended it after season 3 or 4. now, it is just plain boring, with the same jookups and scandels repeated.|||Walking Dead: Positive: It's interesting, the acting is very good, and zombies are always fun!
Negative: This whole zombie thing is getting repetitive. I would like to see something a little more creative and original.

I'm sure fans of the comic know about the tv series based on The Walking Dead coming to AMC on halloween, and I regretfully didn't pick it up sooner. I'm considering picking up the compendium but it's like $80 on Amazon. Is it okay to just start reading the comic book series in the middle though or should I start from the beginning?|||yes you will be lost and miss out on A LOT of the story

I can not find out what the next book or volume is called. I looked up the walking dead compendium volume 2 but that doesn't seem to exist. Volume one is vol 1- 48 so I next volumes 49-72. Please let me know. Thank you|||Hey there!

There isn't a second compendium yet. The first compiles issues 1-48, and we've a ways to go before we have enough material for the second one. (Book two will eventually be issues 49-96; we're only on issue 80 as of this month.)

How long was the main character from The Walking Dead in a coma?
I've been watching the new show The Walking Dead. In the first episode he woke up from a coma after being shot and after the zombie outbreak happened. So how long was he in a coma for? How long after he fell into the coma did the zombie outbreak happen? I don't think it said in the show but maybe it did in the comics since it is based off the comic series.|||Edit: According to the show's website, About the Show section, he was only in a coma for a few weeks. "Waking up in an empty hospital after weeks in a coma, County Sheriff Rick Grimes..."
I would think someone at the hospital would have kept up on the beard, so it would have been when things got really crazy before they stopped.
As far as the flowers, they typically go from living to dead quickly, but they may have dried out if they were not watered. dried flowers do not look that different over time.
I agree on the wife thing. Either it has been a while and she mourned the husband, was cheating on him before he was shot with his partner (usually the case in cop shows), or she was glad to get rid of him. The last two are more likely as they were fighting, per the main character in the pilot.
Now that he has the group from the camp that she is part of, it is only a matter of time before they meet up again and the fecal matter hits the bladed air moving apparatus.
Most likely, because the people in the city were trapped, the camp would have moved on and they will have to look for them. This will draw out the reunion, allow us to see more about the relationship between his wife and partner and add to the drama of the reveal.

I plan on going back and watching them again this week.

In season one of the AMC show "The Walking Dead" there was a black man, and his son who Rick taught to use guns. They didn't appear in any episodes after that, or in season two. What is the difference between all the Walking Dead comics?
After watching The Walking Dead on AMC, I decided to start collecting and reading all the comics. I bought the first volume (Days Gone Bye) and noticed on the shelf that there were hardcover books as well. When I checked online, I saw the regular comics and countless different hardcover books of the series. It's got me really confused on what to buy? Will I be missing out on anything if I just get the single volume paperback comics? Do the hardcover editions have any bonuses or extra things that the regular comics don't?|||Some of the hard covers have bonus stuff but i'm not sure what lol sorry

Based on the dead flowers and a few other things, he was in a coma for a few weeks with no life support. So how did he survive that long? If you have no idea what i'm talking about watch The Walking Dead show.|||He was never on life support (you don't need life support if you are shot in the shoulder) so he obviously could survive indefinitely long (he would need food and water though), and flowers can die in less than a week esp. store bought flowers, if they don't get water (which i'm assuming they didn't get from the zombies) So he was probably only out for a few days and he didn't need life support.|||awesomme show
