If someone were to be infected by being bit by a zombie in The Walking Dead would this mean that they would have to be saved by their friends and then turn into a zombie because if they were to get overrun by zombies wouldn't they have just been eaten completely by the zombies.In the case of The Walking Dead AMC TV show, how are new zombies made if they eat live people?
It's the ones that get away from the zombies that bite you , or sometimes if blood gets in a open wound or or eyes that's changed people in other films. Yes. I have wondered this myself; I believe that what happens is that a person is bitten by a zombie, but maybe gets away before he can be consumed. Then, the infection spreads in his body and turns him into a zombie.
