Does The Walking Dead have pop out horror?

It looks like an interesting show but I hate when things pop out at you. Do they use that element in the Walking Dead alot?Does The Walking Dead have pop out horror?
Not that much. Most of the tension is from the living characters fighting amongst themselves, and loads of zombies approaching, slowly. There are a few scenes where they try to shock you with an unexpected close zombie, but not that much.Does The Walking Dead have pop out horror?
There are quite a lot of moments where something scary happens suddenly, but mostly you're already scared because you know something's going to happen! A very good show, though! Very much worth it! :)
