When will more episodes of The Walking Dead come out?

I was wondering becuase there weren't any mentoins of more episodes after 6 and I'd really like to see more of this shows.When will more episodes of The Walking Dead come out?
Not until October, for 13 episodes of Season 2. People weren't sure how the viewers would respond to a zombie show and it became a big hit. But they only made those six to start with, so they're basically going into 2011 from scratch.
