If I were to start reading the walking dead comic, and wanted to start from where season 2 currently is?

Then which comic book should I start at?If I were to start reading the walking dead comic, and wanted to start from where season 2 currently is?
Between the show and the comic series, they are very different. Although I appreciate the show, I still feel that the comic is much more superb. To me it's more graphic, more enthralling, and it's not so much a soap opera like the show.

If you're watching season 2, then I suppose you could start 79. But remember the show and the comic book are not linear in story. You may be a bit confused when you start reading the book and not recognize some of the characters and the storyline. If I were to start reading the walking dead comic, and wanted to start from where season 2 currently is?
LOL I know he didnt mean Issues 79 and 86? LMAO ugggh the show is going back and for between issues.

!!!!!!SPOILER ALERT!!!!!

The very first episode was a scene from Issue two at the gas station and he never ran into the little girl. I.2 also showed him getting the horse and going into Atlanta and loseing the horse to walkers AND meeting Glenn.

Issue 3 was when he caught up with Lori and Shane.

Issue 4 was when he and Glenn smeared the zombie goo on them and went back into ATL. Also the big TANK scene was here too. Lori tells Shane "that NIGHT was a mistake." meaning that they was "together" only ONCE.

Gun Practice was in Issue 5. Amy and Jim gets bitten when the camp gets attacked.

Issue 6 is when Carl shoots and kills Shane.

Issue 7 is when TYRESS and his daughter enter the comic and Lori tells Rick she is pregnant.

Issue 8 is when Andrea and DALE hook up when the group stays the night in Wiltshire Estates and later on discover (and gthe cliffhanger that says) ALL DEAD DO NOT ENTER

Issue 9 is when Carl gets shot!

Issue 10 is when they arrive at Hersel's farm along with Hersel, Lacey (eldest), Arnold (son), Maggie, Billy (youngest son), Rachel and Susie, Otis (who lived up the road) and Patricia.

In this issue Hersel tells Rick "...You don't want to go in there, trust me. That's where we keep all our dead ones."

Issue 11 is where we are at the moment. Another Target practice and Rick talks to Hersel about the dead in the barn and Hersel gets PISSED lol and when putting a walker in the barn something BAD happens....

end of Spoilers! If I were to start reading the walking dead comic, and wanted to start from where season 2 currently is?
