Is there an age restiction on the walking dead comics?

i walked on heroes and fantasies today and the clerk said i could by a walking dead comic, even though i had bought 30+ before. the new clerk said they werent suppost 2, was he right?Is there an age restiction on the walking dead comics?
There is an age limit for some comics, but most stores don't enforce it because it's more of an "it would be nice if you did this" type of thing than a "you have to do this" type of thing.

You probably just got stuck with someone who's a little too into their job.
